We know you have probably heard it too many times to count, but we are going to say it again, get started sooner rather then later. Our next bride is a testament to that fact and she will tell you just how much she loved her early bird wedding in California, because she planned ahead!

If I could change or do anything differently I personally would have done a “first look.” My husband was very adamant about seeing me for the first time walking down the aisle which I respected and understood. I loved that moment where we saw each other and will never forget the look on his face.
However for picture/photography/ and time sake, I feel like a first look would have given us a little more photo opportunities since cocktail hour is limited. Other than that, the wedding was beautiful and I cannot thank my vendors enough for all of their inspiring work.
To all of the beautiful future brides out there, here is my piece of advice: Plan ahead. I was lucky enough to be about 98% done with everything for the wedding 5 months before the date. This way I was able to enjoy every single day until the actual wedding. I got to soak everything in and be excited rather than stressing/ pulling all-nighters to make name tags for the seating chart. Plan ahead, it makes wedding planning that much easier!
