Desert Wedding: Unconventional California Ceremony
Rozalynne and Adam wanted a warm and relaxed wedding that was far from old fashioned. Tradition stood no chance as this unconventional couple chose their California desert venue, walked each other down the aisle with their dogs serving as best man and maid of honor. When all was said and done, this dusty desert wedding was truly unique and reflected the two people that planned it!

From Ohana Photographers:The ceremony and reception were held at Rimrock Ranch, in the California Desert, near Joshua Tree National Park. It only takes a quick second to see why they chose this venue. It's simple, filled with natural beauty, and it is just outside of cell phone range. It's rare today, especially in California, to find a place where you are forced to unplug from all outside distractions and just enjoy the moment that you are in. Rimrock Ranch is one of those refreshing rarities.
Adam and Rozalynne ran wedding tradition right out of town. Way out. They did what they wanted to, and made everything about this wedding their own. Roz wore an absolutely gorgeous vintage style dress and did not have a care in the world about it getting dirty. About an hour after putting it on the bottom of the dress had a cool hombre look to it because of the desert dust. It (and Roz's Frye boots) fit right in with the surroundings.
If something didn't go according to plan, nobody knew about it. There were zero traces of stress. Roz and Adam's parents were in attendance, but they remained cozy in their front row seats for the whole ceremony. Adam and Roz walked down the aisle together. Their bridal party consisted only of their dogs.
Aside from dinner, dancing, and fun, almost all other typical wedding reception traditions were left in the past. This wedding walked it's own path, and I was happy to witness it. It was an amazing day of fellowship, family, and friends. Roz and Adam wouldn't have it any other way.
