You better be ready for this UH-MAZING, non-traditional wedding at the Havasu Springs Resort in Arizona. The bride and groom opted out of the more traditional wedding in favor of their unique vision which featured desert plants, geometric decor and one head turning dessert stand.
We’re also a little smitten over the brides custom made (by herself!) seating chart! Keep scrolling for more stunning images from Clique Photography, and don’t miss the full gallery after.
After venue hunting for months, we landed at the Havasu Springs Resort in Parker, Az – a place where we have created many memories over the years. The vision we had for our special day went something like this… a non-traditional ceremony followed by a kick ass after party with all of our closest friends and family.
Rather than have a traditional wedding party we wanted to include our two boys as they would walk their daddy down the aisle. At the end of the aisle my grandmother would be waiting as our Officiant. Our ceremony felt like a dream. The words ‘I Do’ were soon followed by our first kiss as husband and wife while clouds of white smoke swirled around us. We were welcomed as Mr. & Mrs. Crawford by the cheering of our guests and the song 'started from the bottom' by Drake playing in the background.
Being an artist myself, it was important to me that I incorporate my work into our big day. Starting with a custom built alter, designed with cactus-filled macramé plant holders and geometric wood accents. Carried into the reception I designed an escort wall filled will marble tiles and wood triangles resting on copper nail heads. Another glimpse of my work was brought into our gorgeous dessert display with a raw wood geometric structure. Throughout the night our guests got wild in front of my open-air cactus and moss filled photo booth backdrop. You can say that my contribution was a success.
From Laura with Perfectly Poised Events: The wedding boasted many custom details created exclusively for the bride and groom including: marble glazed donuts and crystal sugar geodes, a neon light reading “The Crawford’s Desert Romance”, dip-dyed macramé hangings, hand painted calligraphy signage and menus, die-cut table numbers, concrete ring vessels, naturally dyed silk ribbon, vintage furniture and décor, a custom hardwood wedding band, hand crafted bridal jewelry, and even a custom Snapchat filter. From start to finish, this day could not have been more perfect. On behalf of all your vendors, congratulations Christa and Jesse!!! We wish you a lifetime of laughter and love!
