Dreamy Boho Wedding With A Desert Portrait Session

Many of us dream of our wedding long before we're even engaged (it's ok, this is a safe space, no judgment). This bride, Amy, had always pictured an elegant boho wedding with a garden ceremony and a couple's portrait session in the rolling desert hills. They kept the color palette minimal and neutral with a touch of blush being the only color. She wore a stunning lace mermaid gown with trailing tulle wings and a soft veil to match. Her hubby wore a light tan linen suit that was just right for the upscale yet laid-back affair.

Blush Events completely got the bride's vision and everything turned out even better than she could have imagined. These soft, whimsical floral arrangements by City Flowers LA fit the bohemian brief perfectly, especially the pampas grass arch from the ceremony. The wedding was held at Hummingbird Nest, which offers a beautifully manicured garden space that they utilized for both the ceremony and reception and it's close enough to the wild natural desert that the couple wanted for their portrait session. I feel so blessed to have had my dream boho wedding. I had so much fun planning this once-in-a-lifetime event. From designing my wedding stationery, choosing flower arrangements, burying myself in Pinterest, picking out silverware, and doing all sorts of other fun, Bride-y things. I felt so lucky to be able to really make my vision of a romantic Bohemian-style wedding come alive. I'm so thankful to everyone who helped me make this wonderful day happen!
