Fall In Love With Your Venue

From the Bride: I always wanted to have a destination wedding with my closest family and friends. Me and my husband were considering so many different options such as renting a villa, or having a wedding on the island or a boat. Then I came across Asia and Niko's pictures and instantly I knew I had to reach out to them and it was the best decision, because they guided us during the whole planning process and helped us put the most amazing team, including Huracan venue team. This is how I found Huracan and it was definitely a love at first sight. Huracan is a magical venue by the beach, so unique and romantic...ideal for making new memories!

Our ceremony was on the beach at sunset and it was nothing short of magical. Walking down the aisle with my dad by my side and looking at my soon to be husband, this was once in a lifetime experience. It is waaay better than in any romantic movie, it feels like time paused for you. It was just perfect!

Spend Your Time Wisely

When I was planning our wedding, I saw a lot of past brides mentioning how quickly the day goes by. After having our wedding, I now know what they all meant. It was by far the shortest day in my life! Enjoy every second of your wedding and don't let anything ruin it for you. The only thing I would change is schedule of the day. Our dinner was about 1-1.5 hours and I would allow maybe an extra 30 minutes for dinner, because some guests didn't get to try or finish their main course and/or cake.

Help Me Remember This

Although there are a few tiny things I might have done differently, our day was perfect. I do wish I had a lighter second dress, and I wish we brought our real rings with us for nice pictures, instead of fake ones. Have someone in charge of your belongings, we had suitcases in the bridal suite with our jewelry and clothes and at the end of the party you might be too tired to collect it all. I was fortunate, my friend packed it all for me and I didn't even ask her to do it. However, we did lose one brand new spare groom's shirt. And lastly, video and photos are the only visuals you will have afterwards. They are worth every penny!
