Michael and Fallon met at the University of Missouri through mutual friends during their freshman year in 2011. Once they met, the rest - as they say - was history! Fallon and Michael knew they wanted a destination epic-party wedding with their friends and family for their autumn Asheville wedding, so they celebrated with a day full of beer, laughter, and dancing!

Highland Brewing Co. was where Michael and Fallon went to celebrate after Michael popped the question in 2021. Because both the bride and groom love the fall and wanted an indoor/outdoor venue, this location was the obvious choice! Highland has incredible views of Pisgah National Forest, so having the wedding in October meant the trees were the perfect hues of orange and red.
Fallon and Michael's brew-filled blast at Highland Brewing Co. began with an outdoor ceremony that highlighted the beauty of the fall foliage Asheville had to offer. Asheville was full of an array of red and orange tones that perfectly blended with the color palette of their decor. A touch of disco was present throughout the day also with their 70's-inspired signage and stationery, and reception tables that incorporated miniature disco balls into the centerpieces. A fun and funky aesthetic was the goal, and they definitely accomplished it! The teeny tiny disco ball escort display was the cherry on top of this unforgettable party... not to mention the disco ball tattoos the couple got two weeks before their wedding to commemorate the event!

Love was brewing at this ultra chic brewery wedding
Fallon is the first to admit she is not the most crafty person, but one of her favorite details for the wedding was their guests' escort cards. Thanks to the help of her co-workers, they made each name card and attached them to a mini disco ball. Her aunt and cousin then painted a large board that displayed the personalized disco balls. They were the perfect DIY keepsakes for their guests!
The reception was an absolute blast, with many thanks to their amazing caterer, Catering by Corey. Having the wedding at a brewery, they also made sure to have a wide variety of craft beers and wine, as well as curated cocktails from their caterer, including a blueberry fields drink, an Old Fashioned, and a habanero margarita. Michael's must-have for the reception was a late night snack. Catering by Corey displayed a nacho bar with warm queso, chips, and all the fixings! It was a total crowd-pleaser. Their incredible DJ, LaDarius from Mixwire Productions, kept the dance floor going all night, and also provided their photobooth.
"The best advice I could give would be to enjoy your wedding day! Do not sweat the little things and remember the reason you are throwing this event. Our wedding day came and went in the blink of an eye, but I would not change anything. We were surrounded by our closest family and friends and that was all we could ask for. Our wedding planner, Sierra, truly was a lifesaver and made sure that not only Michael and I were stress free, but that our guests also were having a blast. And I absolutely do not regret hiring our amazing photographer, Simon, to capture every small detail and moment throughout the day. Our wedding photos are something we will have for the rest of our lives that let us reminisce about the happiest and most epic day. Simon not only captured what the day was truly about, but was our hype man throughout the whole process, and we cannot thank him and all of our vendors enough for making our dream wedding come true!"
