We are in LOVE with hand-painted invitations! Whether you go for something traditional like a painting of your wedding venue, or a floral motif featuring your wedding vibe and color palette like this couple did, your guests get an impactful first impression and you get a truly unique keepsake from your best day ever.
Alisha and Winston met in Alexandria, Virginia, where they are both from. When they contacted me, they were set on having a boho-style wedding in Tulum, a destination they already knew and loved. The moment they saw Mia, they fell in love.
The wedding party looked stunning in warm colors leaning towards pink and red. The bridesmaids wore elegant dresses in these hues, which beautifully complemented Alisha's boho-inspired white gown. Their makeup was natural yet glamorous, with soft, smoky eyes and nude lips. Hair was styled in loose, romantic waves, creating a timeless and sophisticated look. The groomsmen were all dressed in classic tuxedos, adding a touch of formal elegance to the boho-chic theme.
Several factors made this wedding unique. Firstly, the disco balls of various sizes scattered throughout the ceremony area, as well as the charming micro disco balls placed among the tables in the lounge area and bar, created a sparkling and fun atmosphere. The checkerboard dance floor added a distinctive touch to the event. What truly set the party ablaze, however, was the live entertainment by the incredible BJ Griffin and his band. Winston, the groom, even took the stage, showcasing his musical talents by playing both the keyboard and the drums, impressing everyone with his performance.
We can't get enough of this color palette. Bright orange, yellow, coral, and red reflect the tropical vibes but muted tones like mustard, taupe, and sage, mixed with the dried greenery give these florals by Cherry Blossom Mexico a distinctly fall feel.
