Elopement Celebration: Keren & Matt’s Fun-Filled Reception

Bride holding a beautiful bouquet of pink and white flowers

Keren and Matt held a private ceremony on the beaches of Costa Rica. Then... they came home to hold the party of their lives with all of their friends and family. What they wanted more than anything was for their guests to have a blast, and for their reception to have a real party atmosphere. So, take note from this adorable couple that no matter what, you can still put on a pretty dress and have a reception after your elopement or private ceremony.

Harmony Creative Studio ensured that the day was full of fun. So many cute things were in store for all the guests from a caricature artist to a cotton candy cart! Get more ideas on how to create a reception to remember in the full gallery here, captured by Katie Pritchard Photography.

Words from The Bride

Our planning adventure started probably a month after we got engaged. We wanted to enjoy our newly engaged status, but it wasn't long before the realization of "the big moment" was creeping up rather fast. Matt and I knew we wanted a summer wedding so we only had 9 short months to plan the wedding of our dreams. So many ideas and so much to do in so little time we knew we couldn't do it alone, we needed a team.

Cotton Candy Cart at your wedding

With our families and relatives by our side, we went on a countless search for vendors, photographers, venues, and planners. Slowly but surely, our wedding army of ladies started to form. As any bride, I spent a lot of sleepless nights thinking of ways to make our wedding unique and memorable for our guests. Everything from having the caricature artists to a cotton candy machine, no idea was too absurd or too grand for these ladies. The result was an unforgettable night, better than we could possibly ever imagine.
