Stunning sunset colors and a love of Hawaii was the vision behind this gorgeous wedding day! Maui had always been a beloved destination for bride Danielle's family, who visited the island multiple times a year - so it was the perfect sentimental location to wed her high school sweetheart Tyler. The couple chose the Four Seasons Maui for its naturally gorgeous views and design, wanting to accentuate the space instead of overpowering the atmosphere.

The bride wore a romantic Galia Lahav mermaid gown with a deep v-neckline and backline, adorned with lace, 3D florals and airy bow tied straps. Her ethereal bridal style was complemented by soft waves and glowing makeup by Maui Makeup Artistry.
Danielle's luscious bouquet by Country Bouquets Maui added hues of vibrant pink, blush, and orange that complemented her ethereal, floral patterned gown. The pop of color was perfect for her first look with Tyler!
The bride's moments before the ceremony with her dad were made all the more sentimental with a custom handkerchief gift! Her father had previously battled leukemia, so getting to celebrate with him in good health was an incredibly special experience for them both; they later had a long-awaited father-daughter dance to "You're My Best Friend" by Queen.
139 friends and family flew from all over the country to celebrate Danielle and Tyler, so it was only fitting that their wedding fashion would match the beauty of the island! The gorgeous bridesmaids were dressed in their own choice of Jenny Yoo luxe satin dresses in the color "Canyon Sunset", while guests wore a variety of tropical colors to match the horizon.
To pair with the warm hues of the bridesmaids, the groom and groomsmen donned the iconic blue of Hawaii in Michael Strahan Classic Fit Suits from Men's Wearhouse. These suits were perfectly breathable for the tropical weather!
To accentuate to beautiful landscape of their Four Seasons Maui ceremony, the bride wanted to incorporate a chic, mostly white palette with accents of gold and blooms in shades of orange and pink. Their ceremony arch was a perfect combination of these elements, with a modern circular design!
Danielle's grandmother, Tutu, had shown her family the beauty of Maui! Even though she wasn't physically present, the bride knew her grandma was watching over them in spirit from her favorite place. The sentimental impact of the couple's family was also seen in including siblings and cousins in their bridal party, and Tyler's sister officiating the wedding.
Danielle and Tyler connected their senior year of high school over their loves of track and baseball, before their romance took a hiatus while Danielle went off to college and Tyler began to play ball professionally. Five years later, their paths crossed again while Tyler was visiting their high school friends in San Francisco, where Danielle happened to be living. They ended up attending the same concert by complete chance, which led to their romance rekindling. On a trip to Cabo in 2021, Tyler popped the question on the beach where Danielle was in shock for 30 seconds before answering with a resounding "yes"!

We love these stunning beach shots after the ceremony, captured by Chris J. Evans - they perfectly show off the bride's accessories, including her cute gold heels!
Some of the bride's favorite wedding day accents were their acrylic signage, painted soft pink with white calligraphy. These signs were perfect to guide guests to a drink and their seats with custom bars menus, a modern escort sign, and blush table numbers.
We loved the play on the groom's name for their signature cocktail the Mai-Ty! It's the couple's favorite drink on the island so they wanted to share the refreshing cocktail with all their friends and family.
The beautiful design of the couple's ceremony blended seamlessly with their cocktail hour and reception details! A neutral palette was used to create an impactful, clean slate against the lush tropical surroundings. Their elegant, white tables and chairs were punctuated with vibrant, sunset palette centerpieces by Country Bouquets Maui, pink goblets, and modern gold flatware.
"The Four Seasons Maui is already so beautiful, we didn't need to do much to change things. We know that destination weddings can be expensive, so we wanted to do as much as we could to make it look beautiful without spending too much money. We wanted to add little touches with flowers and music here and there to remind everyone this was a wedding!"
The couple's beautiful orchid wedding cake was a vanilla sponge cake with coconut dacquoise, mango and coconut buttercream fillings!
