Nick & Amanda met in college back in 2018 when Amanda made the first move on Nick! They got engaged at Cedar Lakes in New York in 2021 on an ice rink under twinkling lights, basically in a setting straight out of a Hallmark movie. Both the bride and groom always knew they wanted an intimate destination wedding, and they did just that. 80 people flew out to Mexico for the wedding of their dreams - a modern beach affair on a private beach venue in Rivera Maya that was truly unforgettable! One of the most unforgettable moments? When the bride gifted the groom with a dog tag that surprised him with the news that they were getting a puppy!

For this destination wedding, the wedding party look was timeless. It included black strapless dresses with open backs for the bridesmaids and all black suits for the groomsmen. The groom, Nick, stood out in his off-white suit, inspired by Kevin Love in Ralph Lauren. The cutest wedding party member? Definitely the flower girl who wore a dress designed with delicate white butterflies.

Guests were welcomed to the wedding with customized coconuts and tropical music to complement the ocean breeze! For the ceremony, church pews and a wooden frame were the focal point. When the bride and groom stood at the altar, it looked as though they were in a picture frame with the ocean and clouds as their backdrop. The couple added in a bit of extra fun by taking a tequila shot right after their recessional - and you know the photographer got a super fun shot of the moment, literally! Cocktail hour was overflowing with finger foods, but the couple had a clear favorite: the fresh oysters and jumbo shrimp served on the beach.

The reception was filled to the brim with candles, white flowers, and gold silverware. The ceiling was covered in disco balls and small mini lights to give a "dancing under the stars" vibe. It was modern and minimalistic, all while maintaining a classic, magical feel. Their seating chart, bar menu, and table numbers were made from linen, giving that natural element. The menus were on handmade paper and letter pressed - all of these intricate details really elevated the entire experience! For their favors, the couple gave each guest a customized ring dish with their name on it. It was so important to the couple that their guests have a piece of Mexico to bring back with them, and this was one way for them to do that.
