This wedding in Phuket, Thailand - planned by ME Events Phuket - was the perfect blend of joy and tenderness and perfectly represented this adventurous airplane caption and lawyer couple. The bride and groom chose Anantara Layan Phuket for its unique view and the villa's modern style that perfectly complemented the color palette the bride chose. This space in particular stands out as a wedding destination due to its stunning location and luxurious accommodations. The venue offers breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea, and with its pristine beaches and lush greenery, it's impossible for it to not create a beautiful backdrop for a wedding.
The bride wore a wedding gown from Viktor & Rolf, styled with jewelry from Skylarc Diamonds. To complement her timeless, black-tie look, the groom donned a tuxedo courtesy of Tom Ford. As her final "accessory," the bride carried a bouquet of the most impeccable David Austin roses, courtesy of florist, I AM FLOWER.
For the ceremony, the bride wanted a combination of white, black, and dusty pink in order to emphasize their modern luxury theme. A simple black geometric structure was combined with billowing clouds of flowers in these three colors to create a stunning ceremony centerpiece.

This wedding in Phuket featured a glass aisle straight out of a movie
Because the groom is a captain, ME Events Phuket wanted guests to feel like they were choosing their seats on an airplane, so the seating chart layout was designed like an aircraft. Guests were happily surprised to find their names and seats through a champagne wall where each glass was personalized with a guest's name and table tied to it. Champagne flowed freely throughout the night, and later complemented the bride's choice of wedding cake: a vanilla and lemon sponge cake.
In planning a kid-friendly wedding, it was important for the couple to also provide entertainment for those involved in the ceremony and invited to the entire event. A slightly removed (yet still connected) space was the perfect extra detail, and the couple and their planner made sure to include something for everyone: mini paints, games, a ball pit, play furniture, and a rocking horse.
The night closed with a surprise from the groom who transformed into a singer and lion dancer, eliciting laughter from the guests. It was the perfect genuine and joyful conclusion to an event that honored this couple's love for each other in a luxurious and contemporary way!
