A breathtaking blue hour wedding in the Oaxaca Agave Mountains
For this bride and groom who constantly seek experiences in nature, including hiking in the mountains and going to places where they can see the stars, Oaxaca was the perfect destination for their wedding. Oaxaca had always been their favorite place in Mexico, so it seemed like a perfect opportunity to celebrate their love there with the people they care about. Inspired by romantic and intimate wedding styles, the bride wanted the event to feel as though they were deep in the heart of nature. Keep scrolling to see how Oaxaca Destination Weddings helped bring this wedding day at Loma Noble together using an autumn-inspired color palette of ocher and terracotta, all captured on camera by Chucho Potts.
Pops of autumn color
To add a pop of color to the autumn-inspired wedding day, the bride carried a bouquet by Natura of ranunculus, dahlias, and English roses.
Intricate bridal embroidery
The bride's dress (inspired by the Palace of Versailles) was made up of beaded embroidery with a pronounced V-neckline, transparent sleeves, and an embroidered back. Her veil by Ofrenda Studio was 3 meters long, while her headdress was designed in Murcia and included another constellation piece that the bride opted not to wear the day-of.
Custom-designed suit for the groom
The groom wore a suit from Caballería Brand that was designed for him by designer Alejandro Iriarte.

A blue hour wedding ceremony
The atmosphere at the ceremony was truly magical as it was set on a hill surrounded by mountains. The ceremony began at sunset and ended during the blue hour of twilight. Each moment of the ceremony was beautifully captured on film by Daniela Bravo.
The beauty of a transparent tent
All of the furniture chosen for the day was made of wood, down to the DJ booth. The reception was made up of long tables with lots of candles and glassware containing the flowers, as well as burnt clay vases to honor details from Oaxaca. Under a transparent tent from Sica Eventos that let the stars shine through while also reflecting the chandeliers, Oaxacan-inspired earthenware place settings set the stage for dinner.
Blending floral varieties
For the event, Natura chose flowers such as lisianthus, tulips, English roses, daisies, astromelias, and dhalias.
Floor chandeliers for the perfect lighting
Floor chandeliers illuminated the space and gave it a romantic vibe. In the center, Oaxaca Destination Weddings placed disco balls with floral arrangements to give the space an extra touch of shine and celebration.
A locally-inspired menu
The menu for the event was flavorful and a nod to Oaxaca. It included passion fruit and mango mezcalinas, Aperol spritzes, mezcal, and carajillos. Guests dined on Chapulín cream, black mole, beef filet, chicken stuffed with flower cempasúchil, cheese, and moñe coloradito. For desserts, guests dined on chocotejate cake, goat cheese cheesecake with fig and honey, as well as a red velvet wedding cake.
After-the-fact advice
No matter what happens, always remember the true purpose of your wedding is to celebrate the special love that you and your partner have for each other. Anchor yourself in the present on that day, and don't over-focus on the little things that may go wrong.
