For their wedding it was all about a chic vibe, that would feel laid back but aesthetic driven so they focused on the music, the lighting, and the florals. Vivid Occasions wanted the general atmosphere to feel like an upscale, Ibiza/Tulum-style party with classic touches.
Is there anything more dapper than a groom in a white dinner jacket and a black tie? We seriously can't get enough of this groom's effortlessly cool aura. And the bride–just as chic in her timeless lace mermaid gown–perfect for this tropical fête. And we didn't miss her outfit change–a stunning beaded gown sans train for breaking it down on the dancefloor. All in all 10 out of 10 for this stunning couple.
Jessica and Dave's main vision was to gather their closest family members and friends to honor their most important values as a couple: they are family-oriented, they love traveling, and they love a good party (they're big entertainers). Making the travel easy was very important for them so we created personalized transportation links so their guests could easily book transportation from the airport to the hotel, we provided itineraries and guides about activities to do in Cabo, restaurants, and other points of interest they could visit while in Cabo so everyone had the opportunity to experience the Cabo culture. For their welcome party, they planned a sunset cocktail party that included tacos, seafood, and spicy margaritas. An event that says "Welcome to our Cabo wedding!". This was a classy-meets-beachy kind of atmosphere.
The celebration kicked off with an al fresco ceremony featuring an epic arch by Blush n' Roses that was made of dried florals and palm fronds. "I LOVE plants and florals and I wanted this to be one of the more striking parts of the decor. It was important to me to have a beautiful arch for the ceremony with florals on either side of the aisle running down," explained Jessica.
After saying, "I do," they gathered with their guests for a reception set with warm Mexico sunset shades and disco ball accents (and of course, lots of margaritas!) for the perfect way to cap off the day! "I wanted low centerpieces on the tables and also on the ground with candles throughout the space," the bride described. Right towards the end of their first dance, they opened the dance floor with fireworks going off and the song Rain On Me by Lady Gaga. A mix of top 40s and electronic music were the main music genres selected to play all night.
