Inspired by their love of Italian cuisine and culture, Tara and Jason’s destination wedding integrated ancient citrus groves into a beautifully bright Mediterranean-infused celebration. Hosted at the Ville Antiche Mura in Sorrento, Italy, their venue included a breathtaking view overlooking the sea of Sorrento. The cliffside property is thick with ancient vines, lemon trees, palms, and colorful blooming shrubs in pink, orange, and blue; designer Primavera Dreams complemented the vibrant estate in chic tones of white that let the space shine!

One of the best parts about hosting a destination wedding is getting to make an entire weekend (or week) out of your celebration! The couple's welcome party looked like a vacation in itself, as they enjoyed cocktails with their guests on a gorgeous boat and dock.
Tara wore a classic fitted gown with cutout detail and buttons down the back, which she paired with a chic voluminous veil. She found her modern Jenny Yoo gown at Lily Saratoga, with custom alterations by Mosca Alterations. Her clean, natural glam hair and makeup style was from Kristyl Newell.
Jason and his groomsmen wore bright blue suits from Charles Tyrwhitt to intentionally coordinate with the Mediterranean blues.
Villa Antiche Mura offers absolutely breathtaking cliffside views for a dreamy wedding ceremony against the Gulf of Naples. To embrace the incredible surroundings, the couple opted for understated ivory florals and white peonies by Ravello Wedding Flowers. An altar was set with two blue and white ceramic vases, outstretched with white florals. Guests looked out over the gulf with a dramatic view of Mount Vesuvius. White iron garden chairs faced the water, tied with sweet bundles of lemons still affixed to their leafy branches.
Jason proposed on Tara’s 31st birthday with the help of a custom scratch ticket. He had learned that Tara’s family routinely gave scratch tickets as gifts. After observing this tradition for birthdays and holidays, Jason devised a plan to create his own scratch ticket for Tara. She opened her gift, only to find she had a winning card. Tara scratched off the section to reveal her prize, and her ticket read, “Will you marry me?”
