We love a destination wedding that REALLY makes the most out of their destination, and that's exactly what this couple did with their 3-day weekend wedding in Marrakech. With a sunny palace ceremony, a colorful disco-themed reception, and a desert dance party, there wasn't a dull moment to be had. We also love how they fused their Indian traditions with the local culture to give their guests an authentic and immersive experience all in one. a three-day wedding getaway

In the heart of Marrakech, Zabeen and Shahir decided to celebrate their love in a special way: with a three-day festival that blends the magic of the desert with the beauty of a palace. The wedding took place in Ksar, a typical fortress in southern Morocco, symbolizing the importance of family and unity.

what they wore

For their sun-drenched palace ceremony, Zabeen and Shahir wore coordinating white ensembles with ornate embroidery. Playing off of the cool tones of the blue sky and reflecting pool, the bridal party wore mix-and-match flowing aqua dresses and Anarkali Sherwani. Then, they switched things up and brought the color for their desert dance party. The bride and groom wore rich Lapis blue garments with silver embroidery with peach and white accents. And while the bride and groom were undoubtedly the main characters, these guests seriously brought it when it came to the fashion.

Everyone was invited to a festival full of colors and energy, where they could enjoy every moment. With help from The Souk Department, the decoration was inspired by the bustling markets of Marrakech, with vibrant colors and local materials, bringing a bit of the couple's Indian culture to the party.

Crisp white tablecloths and scrolled white metal chairs were the perfect backdrop for the colorful reception. Printed napkins, custom menus, and stunning multicolored floral arrangements by Atelier Nude stretched the length of the large family-style tables. Tassled chandeliers and ample candlelight gave the entire room a warm glow.
