Arianne and Jack met playing volleyball in a co-ed league where they enjoyed their friendship before deciding to take their relationship to the next level. Once they made that decision, the rest - as they say - is history! They got engaged in stunning Napa Valley, California. It was going to be a grand gesture on a hot air balloon ride, but Jack quickly pivoted when the ride was cancelled due to low visibility! The couple ended up sharing a quiet hike where Jack proposed at the top of the trail. One year later, they were planning their destination wedding in Greece. They choose Greece because Arianne’s family is Greek, and it was her favorite place in the whole world - she was excited to share her love for Greece with Jack.

When starting to plan their destination wedding, Arienne and Jack wanted to choose a venue that overlooked the sea and bright blue sky. They were looking for a contemporary venue to incorporate their modern vision of their décor, and Island Art & Taste was perfect!

They opted for minimalistic details paired with modern lines and soft neutral flowers. One of the most important elements of their wedding was to create a romantic atmosphere for the evening that made it feel like they were dining under the stars. A beautiful fairy-light canopy over the tables paired with light bamboo-linen lamps hanging from the ceiling in dim lighting created this vibe with absolute perfection. And of course, the wedding celebrations concluded with a surprise firework show and lots of Greek dancing under the stars. It was everything Arienne and Jack wanted from their destination wedding, and more!
