Corinne - host of the Two Girls One Ghost podcast - and her fiance Bryan met as so many do: On the internet! After matching on Hinge and spending five hours at their first dinner date, they knew it was going to be something special. After two years of dating, Bryan proposed on one of their regular evening walks down Hanover Street in the North End of Boston. Keep scrolling to see how their wedding at Basin Harbor came together with the help of Bramble and Bloom Floral, all captured by CityLux.
Corinne and Bryan wore laid-back lake wedding attire to be able to kick off the weekend at their welcome party. Corinne wore an off-the-shoulder mini dress with puffy lace sleeves that was custom made using parts of her mother's wedding gown, while Bryan donned classic khaki pants and a white shirt.
This couple had not one but two bands. One of the couple's most memorable moments was their reception band, The Sugarbabies, who made everyone feel like they were at a real concert. One guest even live-streamed part of the performance! At one point, the saxophone player came out on the dance floor, perched on top of another band member's shoulders, and gave an incredible solo performance.
Their welcome party featured another local band, The Tender Bellies who helped kick the weekend off.
Corinne and Bryan got married at a lakeside resort: Basin Harbor. Because Corinne grew up in Vermont and Bryan visited his family cabin just across the lake in the Adirondacks, they knew it was the perfect location. Friends and family travelled from all over the US (and even a few international flights!), so it was important to the couple for guests to feel like this was a vacation for them too. They spent the weekend staying onsite in beautiful lakeside cottages, making s'mores, kayaking, listening to live music, and celebrating!
Corinne chose to wear a gown by Grace Loves Lace. It was simple, elegant, and most importantly, comfortable! It was the first dress she tried on, and she immediately said that this was the one... just like her first date with Bryan!
Corinne's wedding party wore champagne satin midi dresses from Show Me You MuMu with a variety of necklines. Each bridesmaid also carried a bouquet that ranged from including delicate purples to a pop of muted yellow.
Bryan wore a custom navy suit by Indochino. He customized the inside of his jacket with a colorful Toucan print - sharp and fun! He and his groomsmen wore monogrammed leather suspenders, which were extremely necessary on the dance floor because they danced HARD.
The ceremony took place under a shady tree overlooking the harbor below, and the bride's brother, Christian, officiated. Bryan and Corinne had spent a few evenings prior sitting in a cottage on the property, writing their vows to each other. That feeling of intimacy and comfortability transferred over to the ceremony. They felt very at ease and relaxed - and Christian’s many jokes helped with that!
