After spending years in a long-distance relationship between Capri and New York, Alessia and Michele decided that it had become unbearable to live apart. One evening after they had reunited, Alessia whispered to Michele, "I can't wait to get married," and Michele pulled a ring out of his pocket that he had bought a few days before. He replied, "Me too - Do you want to marry me?" And the rest, as they say, was history! Keep scrolling to see their incredible day - a romantic and fun wedding event planned with the help of Noemi Luele of NEW (Noemi Events Weddings).
For the big day, all of the couple's guests arrived by boat to Bagni Tiberio Capri where they were greeted by a beautiful arch of flowers and chairs already prepared for the ceremony. The couple entered the ceremony on a stunning Riva Yacht to the sound of a violin. Alessia was wearing a beautiful dress by Gali Karten, while Michele chose a classic suit from Isaia. The symbolic ceremony celebrated by the sea was very emotional for everyone in attendance.
An aperitif followed the ceremony featuring the couple's signature drinks named after their two poodles: “Mora” (tequila, Cointreau, lime, and grapefruit soda) and “Mango” (mezcal, Cointreau, lime and jalapeño). Guests encountered a stunning tableau that stated, "Find your name and follow your flower," in which the flower was the name of the assigned table.
NEW and Capri Blossom created a stunningly gorgeous dinner area that featured candles hanging from the ceiling and pastel flower compositions with colorful gypsofila, dahlia, anthurium, lagurus, and orchids. Photographer Guardasole Photo captured every last moment and detail. Upon being seated, guests enjoyed either a seafood dish (mezzi paccheri with astice) or a vegetarian option (ravioli capresi in lemon sauce) followed by sea bass or vitella tonnato.
While guests enjoyed the signature cocktails and appetizers, Alessia and Michele made the most of the incredible coastline and took an array of couple's portraits with a variety of backdrops, including the picturesque city, mountains, and ocean.
During dinner, the lights and music suddenly went off. To surprise her new husband, bride Alessia and their planner simulated a black out just before Scialapopolo Capri, a folk band, started to play. After their performance, the iconic patisserie Gelateria Buonocore Capri created a beautiful and delicious heart shaped wedding cake that the couple cut and served under a set of fireworks. The cake was a sponge cake dipped in limoncello with chantilly cream and fragoline. Bagni Tiberio Capri made the special additional sweet treat: Neapolitan donuts.
