Katherine and Morgan took the phrase "Sunday fun day," and ran with it! With a venue that included a tree house for the fellas to get ready in, a homemade ring toss game during cocktail hour and a brunch that was mostly dessert this brunch wedding positively wrapped up the weekend with a Bang!

From the Bride:The coral, guava, gray and navy blue color tones worked really well for summer and the combination made the ambiance so much more vibrant and sun kissed for the wedding party as we celebrated our wedding day! The flowers by Dandie Andie Floral Designs were incredible and suited our whole color scheme to the 'T'. I was in awe of how special each centerpiece and bouquet was and it really brought out the beauty throughout the day.

While taking a few photos after their ceremony, Katherine and Morgan provided cocktail hour fun and games. How thoughtful! You can make your own quick and easy ring toss game! All you need is a box full of glass soda bottles and a couple of dollar store bangles and you are ready to play.

From the Bride:We knew that since it was going to be held on a Sunday, we wanted something simple and intimate. I knew from the get go that I wanted to do everything myself, with the help of family, friends and of course my wedding party. Because I'm a graphic designer, I knew I could save money by designing the invitations, menu cards and seating chart which was not only so much fun to do, but also helped with the personable touch we wanted to portray.

It's your big day so why not have more then just a cake. Even though their wedding was technically a brunch, that didn't stop Katherine and Morgan from pulling out all of the stoppers when to came to dessert. Cookies and cream puffs and cake, oh my!

From the Bride:The one thing I think I would do differently would be to make sure that at least more than one of my maid of honors/bridesmaids were present during my last fitting to see how my dress and train worked just in case the other forgot how to bustle up the train or needed help tying the corset. During the reception, there were problems with my train so we weren't able to bustle it up and I had to hold my train as much as I could and left it dragging on the floor to take photos with family which in turn made it a bit dirty at the ends. There's nothing like a trip to the dry cleaners to fix this though!

Our budget was $20,000 and even though our wedding was set during peak season, we were able to cut costs at our venue by having it on a Sunday and booking it for only half the day. That helped immensely towards our budget and having a custom brunch station made it even more affordable since we were able to purchase our own alcohol with a license and customize it towards our brunch theme with mimosas and different types of beer.Wedding Dress & Veil: $1,500
