The inspiration for this cute and cozy fall wedding was all focused around the month of October. October is both of the bride's and groom's favorite month of the year. So, it was only fitting they held their special day in the fall.
From the changing leaves and pumpkins to the chilly cozy weather; a fall wedding was their destiny. With blankets, beer cozies, natural decor and a delicious pumpkin pie they truly captured the essence of the month. See more in the full gallery here, captured by Jenna Petersen Photography. “It was such a joy to photograph this wedding. When Heather contacted me a year prior to her special day, she already had everything envisioned down to the little details, and it was just a matter of bringing it together. Her and her coordinating team Anchored By Love Events did a fabulous job at bringing the vision to life - from her home-grown pumpkin centerpieces filled with pretty sunflowers, to the pine cones intentionally placed throughout that they collected during their relationship. I loved that Heather chose champagne colored chiffon gowns for her bridesmaids, who wore them so well. They were the perfect blend for the pop of color in the fall florals and the pumpkin decor.” -Jenna Petersen Photography
John Lennon once said; “A dream you dream alone is only a dream; a dream you dream together, that is reality.” Cody’s and my wedding was just that, it was a dream that became our reality. The decor consisted of things we found and came across while enjoying nature. We used pine cones we found on our many trail walks and tree stumps from my uncles yard. Cody and I even planted seeds and grew pumpkins in our backyard. The experience was magical! Our inspiration for both the ceremony and the reception was to show people the beauty of nature and give the appearance of a fairytale.
I wish I would have taken the time to “stop and smell the roses”. Not literally of course. But I wish I would have been able to walk around the venue after things were set up to see all the beauty our guests were about to enjoy. Luckily our amazing photographer was able to capture all the beauty in our photos.
Our ending budget was under 20,000 for EVERYTHING. A few things on our list include:
