This couple met in Alicante, Spain 5 years before they tied the knot. The bride, however, lived in Switzerland so they endured many plane flights back and forth to see each other throughout the first two years. Through the years her ties with his family in Spain became quite strong. Their solution was to hold a wedding party in Switzerland and then fly to Spain for the ceremony. Despite the distance it is apparent through this wedding that a strong love was maintained between them.

From the Bride:The ceremony and reception was held at Restaurante Torre de Reixes , one of the best and most beautiful restaurants in Alicante. Of course my two best friends and our brothers were at our side to make our day so special and relaxed. We are truly thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful friends and family.
Spanish weddings start quite late during summertime so most of the guests had time to enjoy the beach before the ceremony started in the evening. The ceremony was held in Spanish and one friend held a moving speech in German. However, it was a very emotional ceremony and everybody cried, regardless of the language they spoke.
Before the party started we presented our wedding video we have recorded the entire engagement year in different countries and cities. We filmed the same scene in all the places we were and while showing the film to our wedding guests we recorded the ending scene with all our guests present. A fun night with lots of dancing and laughter followed. It was definitely the best day of our lives!
