A colorful ombre shoot in Scottsdale created over scoops of sherbert
After a creative brainstorming session that happened over sherbert ice cream, this vibrant and dynamic desert garden wedding styled shoot at The Andaz Scottsdale Resort and Bungalows came to life, encompassing an alternative-style ceremony seating and ombre design. With touches of tassels and pearls, Matchbox Event Co. highlighted the colorful trends that are starting to break back into the minds of brides-to-be for the upcoming wedding season. Non-traditional fabric welcome sign
Instead of a traditional welcome sign, X opted for a tall wood easel with a floor-length white fabric sign and printed lyrics. The font color complemented the pop of color floral arrangement and colorful vintage velvet furniture.
The groom also wore white
The bride wore a glamorous satin ballgown from Wedding Belles that was fit for a princess, while the groom matched her in a white suit from Celebrity Tux and Tails. Color was brought into the groom's look through a colorful patterned tie and pocket square, while the bride carried a gorgeous summery bouquet filed with peonies, ranunculus, orchids, and other luxurious flowers.
Asymmetrical rainbow aisle
For the ceremony space, every color of the rainbow was represented through the floral arrangements by Florals by Kendra that were placed at the end of each row. The wavy aisle led to a colorful arch that utilized every type and color of flower that were in the aisle arrangements, creating a lush floral focal point.

A nod to 70's wedding inspiration
As a nod to the almost 70's-inspired aesthetics of the shoot, cocktail hour design included velvet furniture, an outdoor rug, mod coffee tables, and a tasseled linen umbrella for shade.
Ombre florals and a modern bow makeover
ROYGBIV made its way all the way down the center of the banquet table set up outdoors for the reception dinner. A rainbow of roses accented with wildflowers stood out against wicker chairs and a white and mustard patterned tablecloth. Bows got a modern makeover through place settings that featured minimalist napkin design around a contemporary menu.
