This timeless wedding is everything you think of when you think of Maryland, a lovely blue harbor with picturesque sailboats, a crisp white gown with a lovely bow detail, tailored blue suits, and a beautifully manicured garden ceremony. Historic towns, like Annapolis, MD, make great locations for weddings. Their historic architecture ensures that even your pub photos from the after-party look like oil paintings from a bygone era.
For their venue, this couple chose William Paca House And Garden, a lovely estate with a romantic garden that is just perfect for wedding ceremonies! Despite their mostly neutral color palette, Franklin Floral Design added a pop of color in these vibrant florals, incorporating pink, coral, yellow, and blue. David Abel Weddings and Michael and Carina were there to capture every special moment from the first look to the couple celebrating with their adorable fur baby! Keep scrolling to hear more from the bride, Erin Harmon, about their big day and how they incorporated a heartfelt tribute to a loved one that couldn't be there. Erin grew up in Annapolis, MD and her parents live on Prince George Street in downtown Annapolis. Erin and Trevor married at the William Paca House And Garden–just a few houses down from Erins' parents. Erin wore a Carolina Herrera 'Lyla' bow back mikado trumpet wedding dress and Trevor and his men wore custom Indochino suits and J. Crew Baird McNutt Irish linen ties. Erin's Irish Catholic grandmother passed away a few years ago and she adored Trevor. Erin & Trevor wanted to honor her through little touches in the wedding.
Erin and Trevor did their first look in the garden where they married and held their cocktail hour and reception under two tents. Following the reception, they had a second line parade with the Naptown Brass Band and 'paraded' with all of the wedding guests to their favorite local watering hole, Galway Bay–an Irish pub around the corner from the venue.
