Classic Style

From the bride: We both love more traditional classic styles, and that mixed with a lot of Pinterest help led to a fun, but classic feel. We used a lot of earthy green tones with white and gold in our decor.

A Bit of Tradition

We followed part of a Stefana (crown) ceremony from a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding. We used goblets from Lindsey’s parents wedding for the Stefana Ceremony as well as during toasts.

The Perfect Day

The wedding was different than we imagined only in how perfectly it went. We had a vision of how the wedding should be, and both expected a certain amount of deviation from this vision in the execution, but when the day was through, I think we were both amazed as to how closely everything went to what we had imagined.

Bridal Advice

A few tips of advice: hire a day-of wedding planner, or designate someone who isn't family to help. I was so glad I had our planner Tamara to help delegate and handle everything so I didn't have to worry! Also, Include the groom on planning so he can help handle day-of issues. Last piece of advice: take a moment to breathe, take a step back and admire and take in the day - it all goes by so quickly (and it really, actually does).
