Julia and Kieran met on a blind date that was set up by some mutual friends who clearly knew what they were doing. Both lovers of music, this Canadian couple opted to tie the knot at the gorgeous Trinity College Chapel on the University of Toronto campus.
The wedding ceremony was followed by an elegant reception at the Royal Conservatory of Music simply oozing with shades of peach and gray, a color scheme after our own hearts. You can find more ideas from this classic peach and gray wedding in the full gallery here, all fabulously photographed by Mango Studios.
While they all wore cocktail length dresses by Alfred Sung from White Toronto with nude heels, each of Julia's bridesmaids chose a different style - a great idea for adding a bit of diversity while maintaining a cohesive look. The peach and pink bouquets designed by Stemz complete the look beautifully.
From Mango Studios:This summery soiree was perfectly fresh in shades of apricot, blush, and soft grey. The music-loving couple chose the gorgeous Trinity Chapel and Royal Conservatory of Music as the backdrop for their nuptials.
Guests sipped on sparkling lemonade and peach cocktails, and the couple arranged for the florist to wrap bouquets of lush blooms for each guest to take home. Mini lemon meringue tarts, strawberry scented meringues and a peach ombre ruffled cake were styled to perfection for late night dessert. It was the perfect marriage of elegant chic and summertime fun!
One of our favorite aspects of this wedding is definitely the cake table! Bobette & Belle created delectable desserts that fit right into the peach and gray color scheme, including the show stopping ruffled peach ombre cake.
Julia and Kieran had candy bars with custom labels created by Paper & Poste for their guests to take home. Guests were also provided with ribbons for creating bouquets of flowers from the centerpieces that they could then take home and use to decorate their homes.
From the Bride:It was definitely a hot day and while I loved my dress, it was pretty heavy so in a perfect world, it would have looked the same but would have somehow been more lightweight....not the biggest deal. Otherwise, we were very happy with the outcome and all of our wedding details.
