How amazing would it be to have a destination wedding in Dublin, Ireland? When the weather behaves in Ireland, it's a beautiful place to get married! While it's famous for beautiful castle and historic country house weddings, an elegant Dublin city wedding in an historic charming hotel can be fantastic too!
As you will soon see from Stephanie and Brian's classic Dublin wedding. See more of this Ireland wedding in the full gallery here, all beautifully photographed by Lisa O'Dwyer.
From the photographer Lisa O'Dwyer:
The ceremony was in a historic chapel at the world-renown Trinity College. It was a great place to get their family group shots taken as the architecture is just stunningly classic and elegant.
We went to the 19th century Iveagh Gardens for some portraits. The Iveagh Gardens is a public park located just behind the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland. The gardens in their present form were laid out in 1863 by Benjamin Guinness after he had built what is now Iveagh House on St. Stephen's Gree.
I was so excited for this wedding as it was taking place at the historic Merrion Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. I was an Art History major in college and the Merrion has one of the most important private collections of art in the country. Plus, it is in a gorgeous historic classic Georgian style building from 1760.
Stephanie and Brian had a small wedding by Irish standards- just 50 of their nearest and dearest. Keeping all the details and colors simple and timeless.
