The Chicago Botanical Gardens is one of the loveliest places in Chicago to get married. With its cascading greens, luscious florals, and waterfalls- it is amazing for photos even with a sudden downpour! Check out all these beautifully captured memories from Angel Eyes Photography.
When the rain storm forced the ceremony indoors we had to improvise a new chuppah, since the old one was soaked. Four cousins stood up as the pole bearers and held a blanket (from the car) over the couple. The Bride later told us she wouldn't have changed the outcome, rain and all- it was a very special moment.
The lush centerpieces, provided by Pollen, set atop the apple green linens. The couple chose florals with a vintage tone (blush, ivory, lavender, grey) and a soft, romantic ruffled look. With the pond in the background and the surrounding greenery, it was a perfect touch of elegance.
Finally, our Bride and Groom chose to have a blues band for their wedding entertainment and it was amazing! Morry Sochat and the Special 20's is not a typical wedding band but they know how to get the dance floor packed. They had so much energy!
All in all, it was a beautiful wedding day!
