Home is where the heart is! At least for these lovebirds, who were called back to the bride's childhood home in Vermont for their chic and modern wedding. "Jubilant" is how their event designer, Harlow & Dahlia Events described couple Lucy & Graham; we couldn't have picked a better word for this upscale yet vibrant event.

Lucy's bridal style was inspired of actress Marion Cotillard, who evokes a vintage chic French aesthetic. Her elegant Sarah Seven gown was a standout, with it's timeless and ethereal design. The look was paired with heels by Jimmy Choo and jewelry by Jennifer Behr, and topped off with a stunning polka dotted veil.
Lucy got the royal treatment, as her hair was styled by family friend and celebrity hairstylist Yves Durif of Yves Durif Salon. We love the unique and vintage bridal hairstyle!

We especially love the extra touch of texture on the bride's polka dotted, long veil!
While the overall design of Lucy and Graham's wedding is modern and timeless, their playful personalities shone through in vibrant and colorful ways! Lucy's bridesmaids were no exception with their pink and red palette dresses.

The bridal party even included close friend and renowned model Emma Ostilly of Elite Models.
Picking a wedding venue is no easy feat! So for sweethearts Lucy and Graham, they couldn't have found a more heartwarming and stunning location than the bride's childhood home in Shaftsbury, Vermont. The couple wanted to "let the beauty of Vermont shine" on their perfect summer day.
When asked why she chose her childhood home venue, the bride had this to share:
“I have so many fond childhood memories at the house, skiing and swimming in the pond in the summer. Graham actually first came up to Vermont when we were both 18 and just friends! It's somewhere we both adore and were hoping to let people into that part of our lives.”
“Reading our vows was definitely the most emotional part of the day. Writing your own vows was scary (we both hate public speaking) but at the end of the day it ended up feeling like it was just the two of us standing up there and we were really only speaking to each other.”

While coming up with a timeless yet playful reception design, the couple wanted to evoke sense of love, fun, and intimacy. Their photographer Julia Luckett Photography remarked:
"The design of the tent was a mix of minimal style paired with colorful summer blooms [Nectar & Root] , all sourced locally. The escort cards featured two childhood photographs of the couple and a wine opener for each guest. Crisp Catering Events created unforgettable food prepared in a farm to table style over open flames. Impeccable planning by Harlow & Dahlia Events who suggested Lucy & Graham choose a champagne pour over cutting the cake to great success."
“We really wanted our wedding to be fun! Our goal was to invite people to the place that we both adore and make sure that everyone left feeling like they had just been to a really intimate wedding, despite the size. Our focus was on the band, food and wine more than anything else, as those are the things we thought were essential to having an absolute ball.” - Lucy & Graham
The couple snuck out for sunset portraits with their photographer Julia Luckett Photography before their end of the night champagne toast. Sneaking out during or after dinner is a great way to make the most of your wedding photography!
After portraits, the newlyweds opted for a champagne tower pour instead of a traditional cake cutting! This is such a unique and fun way to end the perfect wedding day.
Congratulations Lucy & Graham! Be sure to check out the entire gallery from this magical day to see any fabulous details you may have missed.
