Justin and Jodye, old college friends, reconnected two weeks before Justin left for Korea with the military and the two reunited a week before their December wedding in Orlando, Florida. The love that kept them together while being so far apart is apparent throughout this darling wedding.
The event was held at The Acre Orlando, a unique outdoor venue featuring an eclectic mix of buildings surrounding gardens that include a fire pit, pond, and a roofless dance floor. See the rest of this wedding, beautifully photographed by Kelian Photography, in the gallery here.
Jonathan's Flowers provided all bouquets and floral arrangements. We love the vibrant colors of the bridesmaids unique bouquets, together creating a warm palette to accentuate their black dresses. In addition to their bouquets, each bridesmaid also had her own belt, portraying the individuality of each of them.
The wedding was a labor of love done by family and friends. The bride's makeup and hair were done by friend, Michelle Winslow of Orlando. Friend, and professional coordinator, Arlene Outerbridge, along with her husband Bob, managed the day-of coordination. These services were given as wedding gifts, emphasizing the welcoming and warm atmosphere of this wedding.
To invite delight into your wedding, you can always add fun games for your guests! Whimsical decor and signs can also create a bright mood for any wedding. We also love the super cute idea they had for their guest book - photos of all the guests, in front of a designed backdrop.
Even the catering was a personal touch, prepared by the groom, his family, and groomsmen, and served by friends of the couple. As if cake wasn't delicious enough, scrumptious pies were also included to the list of tasty treats served at the wedding, all made lovingly with care.
