I have to say it was one of my most favorite and memorable weddings. I am partial as it was my little sister who got married. We had waited for this day to come and I was so thankful for the man she was marrying. On her wedding day I also had the honor to be her matron of honor and stand up with her. Daylene was the other photographer who allowed this possibility as she covered the ceremony.
From the Bride: My best piece of advice for future brides is advice that one of my best friends gave me before my wedding. She told me to take a few moments throughout the day to literally step back from all the action and just look around and remember how we felt.
We are so fortunate to have had an immense amount of help from my family who not only hosted the wedding but who are so incredibly talented and literally brought our vision to life. We got married in the middle of a field that I grew up running through, surrounded by our favorite people, and danced the night away under lights and a gorgeous chandelier on a handmade wooden dance floor.
From Jamie D Photography: Laura will tell you that her parents farm where she grew up is one of her most favorite places on earth and will always feel like home. Though she and her husband met and live in Colorado, she could not imagine a better place to get married than on their forty acre farm. Family and friends spent countless days getting Misty Glen Farm wedding-ready, and it looked nothing short of amazing.
