Sometimes the perfect venue is right in your own backyard. Literally! Carrie and Geoff’s romantic garden nuptials took place in the backyard of her families home in Agoura Hills, CA and we’re in awe over how beautiful it all turned out.
Our favorite detail? The incredible farm table reception, which is quite possibly the longest reception table we’ve ever seen with crisp white linens and fresh picked florals. Read more about how they transformed this backyard into the wedding of their dreams below. If you’re dying to see more images, Ely Fair Photography gave us a full gallery just for you!
From Tealight Events: When searching for the perfect venue for their wedding, Carrie and Geoff didn't stray far from the bride's family home in Agoura Hills, CA. The lush backyard made for the perfect backdrop where Carrie's parents graciously hosted both the ceremony and al fresco reception.
Though the backyard was beautiful, it did pose a logistical challenge to throw a party for 80 people. We used every bit of available space, even turning the bocce ball court into the perfect area for a long dining table and a raised putting green into a stage for the live entertainment. Brie Walters with Pavan Floral enhanced the natural beauty of the backyard even further by bringing in lush greenery to adorn an existing pergola where we staged the ceremony.
The crisp white linens on the dinner table served as a clean background for unstructured floral arrangements with hues of green, rose, pale pink and magenta. Floral crowns for the picture perfect flower girls contributed to the garden feel.
