From ReadyVIP • Weddings and Events: The bride, Maryann had few requests. She loves blush pink and gold and she wanted it to be feminine but relaxed. Knowing that she is a fan of mimosas, the bubbly bar was the first thing on my list to incorporate into the celebration. Inspired by the bride’s personality, I wanted it to be bright and bubbly!
The tabletop mixers and fruits were labeled with gold dotted tags and the glasses held sparkling themed stir sticks all hand crafted by Carolina of Mint Event Designs. They also tied in perfectly with the Bubbly and Brunch theme seen in the gold dotted invitations I designed. Even the ice cubes contained subtle DIY rose cubes to bring out the femininity in all the sparkle!
Remembering the Foxhole Culinary Tavern was one of my favorite date spots, I wanted to encourage the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. to find their own new date spots. In lieu of a guestbook, attendees signed their names and date night suggestions on pretty papers and placed it inside the keepsake gold and glass Date Night box.
The stunning ribbon and rose backdrop that hung over the guest table was a DIY collaboration between ReadyVIP and Mint Event Designs. It was the highlight of the large and spacious room. Carolina added a special touch to the ribbons directly over the guest of honor with the rose stems scattered throughout. The table décor was simple with blush pink napkins hanging at the place settings and scattered centerpieces and a single blush rose on each plate welcoming guests to ready their plates for the sweet waffle bar.
Aside from the traditional toppings for the waffle bar, guests could select from Foxhole favorites such as nutella chocolate ganache, white chocolate shavings both chantilly and champagne whipped cream, candied pecans, seasonal fruit and more.
With all the syrup and whipped cream, you might think there wouldn't be a need for cake. But all good parties NEED a sweet treat, or two or three! Michelle's Patisserie took the blush and gold glitter theme and ran with it as she adorned the side table with glitter dusted French Macaroons (the bride's favorite dessert), a raspberry white chocolate cake, and a variety of dainty cake balls.
As guests left the party, they stopped at the vintage desk where they found a variety of DIY sugar scrubs made by the bride’s mom and all natural Texas bath salts that were selected by the groom’s mom.
It was a special touch to the celebration that both sets of favors came from both sets of moms. Guests filled the decorated glass jars with their favorite of favors to take home and remember the prettiest bridal shower they had ever been to.
