Kayla and Anthoni are not the average bride and groom. Therefore, it was no surprise that they wanted to avoid the typical hotel ballroom style wedding and instead opt for a ceremony and reception where the natural light would shine and good times would roll. With a laid back vibe and some super cute details including bridesmaids in denim dresses. Love it!
There really is so much more to see of this casual Temecula wedding in the full gallery here. All captured by Temecula Wedding photographer Rock This Moment. Bonus! Kayla shares her full budget breakdown, although prices change with the times it gives an inkling how a fabulous wedding like this one would cost you.
From the Bride:The only thing I may have done differently for my wedding was relaxed a bit more the day of. I spent over a year lazily fabricating the vision for a vintage-inspired big day; collecting old tablecloths in a specific color scheme and rummaging through flea markets for old soda bottles and, my favorite, blue mason jars. I felt relaxed until just about three days before, and then went into a bit of a turbo stress mode.
I still had a great time during the wedding, but at first I had trouble releasing management to my day of coordinator and even got a tension headache. However, an Advil and glass of wine later, and I was enjoying the fruits of my labor along with my guests. I would recommend trying your best to let go of the details (mine ended up beautiful, anyway!) and relax!
What was once used in the mid 1800's during the cattle boom for fiestas and rodeos was the perfect place for this Southern California couple to say "I do"! The couple was gorgeous, the venue was awesome and the party rocked the afternoon into night!
Each guest was given a burlap bag that had an adorable custom label that read. Olive our thanks for sharing our special day with us. Your guests will really appreciate a useful gift that they can actually use like olive oil.
My husband and are very proud of our budgeting skills when it came to our wedding! With some resourcefulness and luck, we ended up spending less than $8000 on our wedding plus honeymoon to Ireland. We were lucky to find our photographer on Craigslist before he hit it big, and he was amazing and amazingly affordable at the time we booked him. Our coordinator was also beginning her career when we met her. Finally, I found our DJ and caterer, Grand Ole BBQ, on a wedding blog I frequented that featured an affordable San Diego wedding. It also helped having the mentality that our day was going to be like a big relaxed picnic, so we didn't focus on fanciness or formality.
