Riane and Vitor blended their cultures and families for a springtime brunch wedding at the Celestine in DUMBO, Brooklyn. On a chilly morning under the bridge, they brought in sunshine with their citrus-colored, fine-art florals scattered around the room. Riane and Vitor are a fun-loving couple who don't take themselves too seriously, so they rented a studio space nearby to get ready in and held this micro-wedding with their closest family and friends.

Bride Riane - an assistant at the NYC Florist, Designs by Ahn - left the design of this event completely up to her boss. Ahn tied together citrus, cherry blossoms, peonies, and teal accents to brighten the space on that chilly March morning. It was perfect timing with cherry blossom season just beginning in Central Park across the city. A true visionary of a floral designer, Riane knew whatever Ahn dreamed up for the space would fit her bubbly personality.
The Brooklyn Bridge, paired with Riane's Jenny Yoo gown, made for a perfect NYC moment. With a little wind and many congratulations from those who passed by, Riane and Vitor made their union official! Their custom vows, which included Vitor promising to always drive Riane around NYC so she didn't have to deal with the craziness, were great first husband and wife compromises!
Celestine, a prime Brooklyn restaurant spot, provided custom cocktails and bites of Mediterranean food for guests to munch on after the "I do's." The couple, their family, and their friends ended the morning with some dancing, toasts filled with a lot of laughter, and a cake in the middle of what looked like a secret flower garden. It was the perfect, intimate way to celebrate the happy couple!
