A rich burgundy, black, and gold color scheme set the tone for this dramatic vintage glam wedding with Spanish flair. The unexpected, yet sophisticated theme perfectly represented the unique colonial cultures of the bride and grooms hometowns in the Philippines.
Their traditional church ceremony at San Agustin Church was followed by a lavish reception at La Castellana filled with sparkle, color and lots of personalized details. Read more about their day below, and check out the full gallery captured by Myio Okamoto.
From the bride: Our wedding theme, Spanish Vintage Glam, reflects the traditional yet sophisticated colonial cultures of Manila where I was born and Garry's hometown, Ciudad De Zamboanga, which is known as Asia's Latin City. It also relates with our chosen Church, Reception and Hotel location which is in Intramuros, the historical Walled City during the Spanish Colonial Period.
Every bit was well-thought out because right from the start we both decided to be hands-on with it not only because we have a tight working budget for our wedding, and that we are both based overseas but also because we wanted to have the kind of wedding that we can look back on for years and be proud to say that “every detail is a reflection of us as a couple” and not only as individuals.
