Time together
From the bride: We have friends and family from all over - most had never met and we really just wanted to give all our favorite people an opportunity to meet, party and spend time together creating connections.
Getting Maui'd in Hawaii
We decided on Maui because we both loved the idea of getting Maui’d! It sounds silly but it’s 100% the reason. Sugar Beach Estate had all the things that we were looking for, plus aspects that we didn’t even realize we really wanted! We got the privacy, the backyard, the beach, the clean open indoor space and the incredible catering and cocktails all wrapped into one – it was a dream come true.
Choose whats important
Good food and good music were tied for most important aspects. We also wanted to throw a party that felt intimate and private even though we were looking at approx 80 guests. We wanted it to feel like a backyard garden party, but in Hawaii!
From one bride to another
When picking your vendors, do your research, choose professionals who have work you love and just let them do what they do best. We gave a general idea of what we wanted, what we liked and didn’t like but were really happy to leave the details to the experts. Some of the best elements of our weddings were total surprises to us that we never would have been able to think of ourselves!!
