Ellen and Nick's wedding took place on a beautiful summer day at Juniper Preserve, located in Oregon. The wedding design was perfect for the time when late summer slowly turns to fall - filled with jewel-toned flowers, emerald green napkins and rustic accents, this styling created a perfect blend of sophistication and charm. The couple partnered with Wedding Chicks featured wedding planner, The Indigo Bride, to bring this vision to life which was all captured on camera by Ely Roberts Photography.
Ellen wore a stunning deep V-neck gown from Daalarna with lovely lace details throughout. The applique lace detailing formed cap sleeves before flowing down into an open back design. Her look was completed by Portland Hair and Makeup and complemented by the perfect wedding updo.
Nick sported a classic suit from Men’s Wearhouse with a fun print bowtie and oversized boutonniere made by Roots Wild from fresh Oregon fern and seasonal blooms.
The couple started the event off with a unique first look that took place in the cave at Juniper Preserve, creating an intimate and memorable moment. It was also the perfect location for group portraits before the ceremony began.
The ceremony itself was held on an island surrounded by calm waters, swans, and stunning mountain views. Ellen carried a gorgeous bouquet of dahlias, and chrysanthemums, all wrapped with an elegant mauve colored ribbon by Roots Wild. Ellen and Nick chose to write their own vows, which was incredibly touching – there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd by the end!

Under the reception tent and stunning draping, the atmosphere became intimate and romantic thanks to design by The Indigo Bride and rentals from Heirlooms and Co. and West Coast Event Productions. Jewel-tones continued to be featured through the emerald green napkins, floral centerpieces, and rustic details.
The couple created the perfect photo op using hanging rattan and jewel-tone floral installations and arrangements set in different-shaped clear vases.
Later in the evening, the tent transformed into a lively dance party. The dance floor was always buzzing thanks to the fantastic lighting and an amazing DJ ( Flip Flop Sounds) who knew exactly how to keep the party going.
