Connor and Tesara both moved to San Diego in 2012, but it wasn't until a few years later that they met downtown at a rooftop nightclub, and their first date quickly followed. Five years later, Connor pulled off a spontaneous proposal at Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach, and you know we love a Sunset Cliffs proposal. Their rainy and romantic winter wedding was nothing short of incredible! From the cozy candle-lit ceremony to the packed dance floor, the couple and their guests enjoyed themselves regardless of the wild weather this couple experienced on their wedding day!

Let's not forget about the dapper groom and groomsmen in their stylish beige and white ensembles. Did you know that all the groomsmen rented their suits from Generation Tux, and the groom rented his for free? See how your groom can get his tux for free here.
Over the years, the couple has loved to travel together, especially to tropical destinations where they collect tiki mugs. Because of this, the couple loved the idea of creating an elevated Boho Surf Shack theme to blend their styles for their wedding in the little beach town of San Clemente, California. After a year and a half of planning and envisioning exactly how everything would go, the weather ended up having a different plan for them.

While the venue had a backup inclement weather plan, the couple couldn't help but think about the ocean views and sunsets their guests would be missing out on during what was supposed to be an outdoor cocktail hour! However, with a handful of magical touches from their vendors, it was as though the plan had been to have an indoor ceremony and cocktail hour all along. The ceremony space was dripping with lush greenery, and the rain only added to the intimate feel of the evening. During any lulls in the rain, the photo and video team were able to capture moments of the couple in their original ceremony space before the indoor dinner and dancing continued. While it might not have been exactly what they planned, it turned out to be that much more memorable for the couple! Rain really just might be that good luck wedding charm.
The bride and groom each had special copper tikki cups, unique touches exclusively for them.
