What do you do when your venue closes just weeks before you big day? If you are as laid back as this bride you just keep calm and call in favors, and it all works out for the best! Amazing attitude right?!
All beautifully photographed by Hayley Lord Photography. Wait ... there is so much more to seeĀ of this blue and yellow rustic wedding to see in full gallery here.
From Hayley Lord Photography: For someone who's original venue closed it's doors 2 weeks prior to her wedding day, Vanessa had to be the most cool and collected bride I'd seen. I was surprised to hear the news over the phone but of course she had a back up plan! From the Bride: I came to appreciate that our venue changed at the last minute. It was AMAZING to see how our friends and family surrounded us with love and support. People were calling and using their personal connections left-and-right for us. I am so thankful for that situation because we found an even better venue (that did not show up on our search the first time) and got to experience what friends and family are really all about.
I really went into the whole wedding planning process with the attitude that it's not the "best day of my life"... it's "one of the best days of my life." Keep yourself grounded in the fact that all your friends and family, from all the journeys that life has led you thus far, are about to come together to celebrate that all these paths led you to your soul mate. It's almost... a time to reflect and be thankful for all the blessings that life has given you.
