Black Tie Temecula Wedding At Mount Palomar Winery

Bride and groom sharing a kiss on their wedding day

Sean and Kelly tied the knot in Temecula at Mount Palomar Winery and their black tie wedding will inspire you from the planning to the reception. You won't want to miss the surprise year-after update!

Wedding Planning:

Vineyard rows stretch towards distant mountains on sunny day

Mount Palomar Winery in Temecula captured our hearts immediately with the amazing views, lush greenery, vineyards, and glow of tea lights. We also had a lot of help enhancing the venue with natural greenery, white florals and gold décor from our designer Marisa of Seven Stems. I loved putting my calligraphy to use making signs and decorations during the planning process. I said yes to my Martina Liana dress at The White Flower in San Diego, where they helped me combine my favorite pieces into one custom look.

Getting Ready:

Our photographer, Elyse Whall, of Plum and Oak ensured the day ran smoothly while also capturing every special moment. All of the girls enjoyed getting ready with mimosas at Carter Estates Winery and Resort. The girls and I spent the morning relaxing getting our hair and makeup done by Stacey Triplow while sipping Mimosas at the Carter Estates Winery.

The Ceremony:

Outdoor wedding setup with rows of chairs decorated

Our ceremony overlooked the many vineyards of Temecula, CA and had beautiful mountains in the background. We said our vows surrounded by close friends and family, and the ceremony was officiated by a close friend family, Father Pat. It was an amazing feeling walking down the aisle with my Father and seeing my soon to be Husband for the first time in his Tux. We had our first kiss as a married couple and walked under a sword arch performed by Sean’s fellow Marines.

The Reception:

Outdoor wedding reception with long tables and string lights

After an opening prayer, dinner, and listening to heartfelt toasts, Sean and I snuck away to take some photos in the sunset which lived up to be some of our favorites! We cut our butter pecan cake designed by Laura Marie’s Cakes and had enjoyed our sprinkle filled donut bar. We finished the evening having a variety of wine from the Mount Palomar vineyards and dancing the night away with our loved ones.
