This weekend long celebration with family and friends couldn’t have turned out more beautiful. The bride and groom wanted to celebrate the best day of their lives in their home state, and they just so happened to find the most perfect laid-back venue with room for all their guests at the Gardener Ranch in Carmel, California.
We especially love their unique table numbers which featured postcards of neighborhoods in San Francisco. Such a cute idea for all you adventurous couples out there. Want to see more? Swing on by the full gallery for all the candid moments captured by Sun and Life Photography.
From the bride: We wanted a beautiful, intimate outdoor space that would allow us to be with our closest friends & family for the entire weekend without a lot of logistics. We knew immediately Gardener Ranch was the perfect fit because of its natural beauty, privacy, and ability to stay on property for an entire weekend.
Our guests were able to have a pool party and play lawn games prior to the ceremony as well as check out some of the local wineries. We also wanted the venue to be in between SF and LA where are families are located. The style that we tried to incorporate into our day was CA coastal, elegant, and beautiful but laid back. We really liked our table themes, which were watercolor images of meaningful SF neighborhoods where we spend a lot of our time.
We were also engaged in San Francisco. We sailed all around the bay, under the GG bridge, and along the North shore of SF overlooking our neighborhood. The sun set, we reminisced about our 3 years together, and then Chris was on one knee asking me to marry him!! He had my great grandmother's beautiful engagement ring tied to his belt loop (so it didn't fall overboard). Seconds after saying "YES!!" fireworks went off over our heads. It was the most romantic day of my life.
