The dress was bought from a vintage shop (unknown designer unfortunately). Lidiana fell in love with it the moment she saw it, bought it and never wore it before. A fun fact is that this happened on their first trip abroad as a couple! Something in her gut was keeping her from wearing it until the right moment came and there was no other dress to make her feel so nice as that one. The bouquet by Santorini Flowers was minimal and freestyle, with beautiful pampas grass and anthurium flowers and the beautiful Lidiana was styled by Bella Damigou and Renia Bledaki.
The Venue: Villa Gaia, is a white washed Cycladic cave house on the edge of the caldera, within the heart of Imerovigli village, featuring comfort and luxurious amenities with stunning views of the sea and the volcano.
The whole concept from the ceremony to the tablescape, was inspired by the BAUHAUS movement which is characterized by modern simplicity, symmetrical designs, bold colors and an artistic flair. The couple trusted their designer's aesthetics. The process of design and styling for the girls of Santorini Bliss Weddings is uniquely tailor made to their clients personalities, experiences and taste.
Almost all decorations used where designed and created by Manto and Chrisa of Santorini Bliss Weddings, using a mix of materials. From Hand painted forex, wood, plexiglass panels, and completely handcrafted vases to stationery and signs.
This elopement was very special, since it took place just after the lockdown due Covid19, in Greece, and has been a surprise to their families and friends as they were invited to join the couple through a ZOOM meeting on a short notice. Their guests were asked to dress nicely, have their drinks and enjoy the ceremony from the comfort and safety of their homes.
This ceremony was utterly a bouquet of unique feelings and moments! Not just for the couple but for the vendors too. It was the first wedding of the season, and coming from a long quarantine and this unknown and difficult situation we are all facing, felt as truly victorious fragment in time!
The signature cocktail by One Box Bar was an all time classic Negroni, according to the couple’s preferences.
Given the wedding theme, the talented pastry chef Alexandra of Alexandra's Cakes, created her own design, with geometric shapes, different textures and matching colors! Spicy Bites Catering provided dinner on the twinkle light-filled evening.
