It’s a real life Barbie wedding! Two dolls stun in this micro elopement
In honor of the new Barbie (2023) movie coming out today, two wedding vendor friends got together to play with dolls in the park. Wildflower Portland and Michelle Allan Photography crafted an adorable & totally Pinterest-worthy micro wedding - literally! Set in the picturesque Washington Park in Portland, Oregon Barbie and her fiancée tied the knot in an intimate inner city elopement.

Custom Mini Scale Bridal Fashion
To style the brides, they were outfitted in pink heels designed by Mattel and custom wedding attire by Parisian dressmaker - M. Creations.The looks were paired with a custom cathedral veil being crafted locally by Sutton Sewn. We love that the chosen styles and accessories were a scaled down inspiration for real life brides!
Based out of Paris, France, M.Creations can be found online via their Etsy shop (MCreationsParis), where in addition to bridal and evening wear, they also design custom pieces which can be shipped internationally.
Local Portland creative Anna Sutton (Sutton Sews), one opted to design one veil with floral appliqué worn at the waist, and the other as a cathedral veil to add romance to her white jumpsuit.
Dried florals from and botanical silks from Silk & Willow brought details that could be found at real weddings to this imaginative styled shoot.
A literal micro wedding (& reception)
If these brides couldn't get any cuter - an actual miniature ceremony was held! Obviously the girls needed a dapper Ken to officiate the nuptials. Contemporary florals were of particular importance to the couple with bouquets and an asymmetrical ceremony arch consisting of neutral colored hydrangea, German statice, fern, bunny tails, and dried florals.
For the couple's reception they dined al fresco in the park with their officiant Ken and a guest. Hydrangeas en masse made up the table's centerpiece while the table linen was handmade with plant dyed silk ribbon in Light Champagne by Silk & Willow. To begin their family style meal, the table was prepared with a fresh baguette, artisanal butter, and bottled sparkling water.
Classic grand exit getaway car
Post ceremony the altar installation was repurposed to adorn the couple's getaway car- which they utilized for sunset portraits. The newlyweds plan to honeymoon in Italy this spring!
