In the quaint town of Keene, New Hampshire, the picturesque setting of Spencer and Sophia's wedding embodied the essence of a romantic garden party. The intimate affair unfolded at a charming family home, the perfect backdrop for a celebration that reflected the couple's love story and shared interests. With a guest list of around forty cherished friends and family, the couple opted for a small gathering, considering the cross-country journey many would make from the West Coast to the East Coast. The decision to keep it intimate allowed for a more personal and meaningful experience for everyone involved. The wedding day itself was a vision of pastels, satin, and linen, capturing the romantic tea party aesthetic the couple envisioned.
Spencer wore a stunning pink ruffled wedding dress, while Sophia graced the occasion in an off-the-shoulder white gown that perfectly embodied the garden party theme. To tie both looks together, Sophia incorporated a pop of pink into her look as well with pretty coral-colored pumps.
The love story of Spencer and Sophia began in 2015 when a mutual friend played Cupid. Back in their teenage years, their lives were filled with school, friends, and shared passions. From enjoying movie nights and live music to savoring steak and potatoes together, the couple's connection deepened over their mutual love for simple pleasures and each other. The journey to the wedding day included a surprise proposal orchestrated by Spencer during a vacation with their best friends. A brunch filled with Sophia's favorite foods set the stage for a nervous but heartfelt proposal that marked the beginning of their engagement. Fast forward three months to a Hawaiian beach at sunset, where Sophia, in a moment of genuine reflection, proposed to Spencer, creating a beautiful symmetry that echoed their unique personalities.
As the ceremony unfolded, under a birch tree and floral arbor decorated by Zofia Floral & Design Co., Spencer and Sophia exchanged vows that mirrored their deep connection and shared dreams. With a flower-lined aisle and white chairs, the brides held the most stunning romantic garden flower bouquets. The atmosphere was one of love and joy, surrounded by the laughter and support of their closest friends and family.
The outdoor reception was romantic and intimate. The tablescapes included long rustic wood tables, small floral arrangements in bud vases, white china, peach candlesticks, and white votives. The celebration continued with heartfelt toasts, spontaneous moments, and the sweet melodies of their favorite songs. In the midst of all the laughter and celebration, it was evident that Spencer and Sophia's love story was a testament to their dedication, generosity, and the profound joy they found in each other. As the evening concluded, the newlyweds made their exit under a shower of well-wishes, ready to embark on a lifetime of adventures, laughter, and the simple joys that brought them together in the first place.
