Elegance through simplicity was the vision for this $100,000 dream wedding. For their wedding, bride and groom Merriam and Karl incorporated modern elements (like baby's breath and fog machines) with chic black accents to add a bold pop while remaining timeless and classy. We know you'll agree that traditionally trendy summed up every element of this incredibly glamorous day, and the weather could not have been more perfect for the couple to capture some of the most incredible golden hour photos we've seen.

For Merriam and Karl's ceremony, tradition met trends through the use of classic white floral arrangements and bouquets, traditional cultural moments within the ceremony, and a glamorous ballgown for the bride. The trendy twists came into play through the bride's slightly see-through bodice and sparkly skirt, and clouds of baby's breath made their first appearance in tall floating structures at the entrance and altar of the ceremony itself. Poufs of the same flower appeared all down the aisle, creating that first dream-like experience of the day!

After their glamorous, but more traditional ceremony, Merriam and Karl's reception kicked off. Black accented details stood out against a white backdrop, creating a timeless look. The reception was also where baby's breath (and a well-timed fog machine) took center stage. Both short and tall arrangements of the flower floated across the reception hall, while clusters of arrangements practically levitated around a custom neon sign at the front of the dance floor. Before their champagne tower toast and exit, the bride and groom enjoyed a dreamy first dance during which a fog machine made it look as though they were dancing on a cloud. It truly was a "dream" wedding!
