This darling couple, Eva and Asa, decided to tie the knot at The Old Bag Factory, which turned out to be the perfect venue for their artsy vintage wedding. A color palette of soft pinks, peaches and creams made for a gorgeous event that we simply can't get enough of and we know you'll love it too! Keep an eye out for the beautiful florals from Fifty Flowers and all of the other amazing details from a great group of vendors. Make sure you don't miss out on anything from this artsy vintage wedding by viewing the full gallery here, with images magnificently captured by Colagrossi Studio.
From the Bride and Groom:We had a vision for our wedding from the very beginning to be a sort of magical experience, and it was awesome to see how all our prayers were answered to make that happen. To achieve our vision, we decided to focus on finding the big things that were most important to us - a beautiful location that fit our vintage, artsy style, a great photographer to capture all the special moments, a reception filled with fun and dancing and celebrating, and most importantly a ceremony that represented how much marriage meant to us and how much we loved each other.
From there we also thought about things we both loved like enjoying food together, painting, pretty floral details, and books, which all became a part of our decorations, our menu, our cake, and other little details.
We heard so many people say before the wedding that it would go by in a whirlwind, and that was exactly what happened. We remember those precious moments like when we read our personal vows to each other for the first time at the ceremony or when all our nieces and nephews flooded the dance floor from the first song of the night until the end of the reception.
Fortunately our awesome photographers, Mitch and Destany from Colagrossi Studio, captured all the other things we missed! The best decision we made was including the people we did, from all the great friends and family who helped so much to all the vendors that took what we wanted and made it a reality.
From the Bride:If I could have done anything differently it would be to make more lists! I'm not much of a detail person, so when we packed everything up I didn't worry about making a checklist. When we got to the venue we realized we forgot the guestbook, my jewelry, the aisle runner, our photo book, and all the materials to make my bouquet! We had to get creative and make do with what we did bring. Fortunately, we had awesome friends and family to make everything come together, even with all the forgetting. It also showed us that little details like those weren't important for making the day wonderful.
