Anticipate The Needs of Your Wedding Party

From the Bride: Our vision was of a more casual wedding so to make everyone as comfortable as possible in our wedding party we bought the girls flats instead of heels and strapless dresses. We also opted for linen shirts with the sleeves rolled up and suspenders for the guys instead of suit coats since it hit the 80s in late September in Minnesota on our wedding day.

An Antiquers Dream

Once we saw Rubies and Rust we knew the venue was already half way to our grand vision, it was eclectic, rustic and casual while still being chic and classy. We just needed to put our final touches on it. We wanted our ceremony to be short and our celebration to be the focus and an amazing time for our loved ones who took time out of their lives to be there with us on that day.

When Opposites Attract

If our friends and family described each of us in one word mine would be organized and Tim’s would be hilarious. We are two very different people who are perfect for each other. I’m a nervous, plan for the worst, hope for the best kind of girl and he’s a go with the flow, make people laugh kind of guy and somehow we each have what the other lacks while giving the other what they need. He makes me calm and I make him focused.

Day-of Event Management is Worth it!

I know without a doubt it wouldn't have gone as smoothly if we hadn't hired day-of event management. Having Dawn there to execute our vision while I was getting ready was amazing, it took the stress off us and our mothers so everyone could focus on having a good time and getting pictures taken
