With a winding river cutting through gorgeous rock formations, this wedding has one of the most breathtaking ceremony backdrops we've ever seen! Plus, we can't get enough of this fashion! This bride and groom exude indie cool kid vibes with the bride decked out in a crocheted lace dress (complete with tassels) and a wide brim hat instead of a veil and the groom in a forest green suit and black turtleneck. Their bridal party leaned into the jewel tone color palette with rich burgundies and topped off their fall looks with fur-trimmed coats for this brisk fall micro-wedding.
The Indigo Bride worked closely with the couple to make this outdoor wedding of their dreams a reality. Riverhouse On Deschutes is so much more than a venue, the view makes it! Location, location, location–right? These stunning florals by The Bend Flower Company play up the colors in the natural surroundings; they used both live and dried flowers to bring in that desert vibe. Each of these photos by Lauren Nicole Photography are works of art in their own right and Wild Light Films was right there too, getting all of these magical moments on video. Alexandria and Brian were married on a chilly, fall day in October of 2020. Traveling to Central Oregon from Florida, they decided to host an intimate micro-wedding with fifteen of their closest friends and family members. Their loving ceremony took place at the grandiose Smith Rock State Park amphitheater which features an incredible backdrop of towering rock formations and the pleasant Crooked River below. Following the nuptials, they all congregated in a hygge-vibed clear tent, set at Riverhouse On Deschutes. It was the perfect backdrop and setting for their destination micro-wedding.
Their wedding day started off with the bride and groom getting ready with their closest and most treasured friends and family members in two of the rooms at Riverhouse On Deschutes. Alexandria and her gals had their hair and makeup done by the wonderfully talented NW Makeup And Hair. Alexandria's wedding dress was the perfect combination of elegant and boho. Her lovely gown was purchased at Olivia Bowen Bridal, featuring an off-the-shoulder look, covered in crochet lace with hanging bohemian sleeves and a stunning, long train. Complementing the gorgeous dress were gold teardrop earrings from BHLDN and an indie white Lack of Color hat. Brian looked dapper, wearing a sharp, dark green suit and black turtleneck shirt purchased from MDO Miami.
Next up was the breathtaking and beautifully intimate ceremony. The setting, among the magnificent Smith Rock State Park landscape, was perfectly adorned with ground floral arrangements designed by The Bend Flower Company. The arrangements were filled with large plumes of pampas grass, football mums, and eucalyptus, as well as rust and light violet roses. Alexandria's bouquet was the true showstopper, with an oversized dried protea amongst the same beautiful types of florals. Lauren Nicole Photography captured each and every detail of this incredible day. After their heartfelt ceremony, everyone made their way back to Riverhouse On Deschutes to continue the celebration.
The guests were welcomed by a stunning clear tent from Incredible Events which housed a long community farm table for dining. The table was garnished with magnificent floral arrangements, vintage green goblets, and tapered candles arranged in rustic wooden holders. The guests enjoyed a multi-course plated dinner under bistro lighting which provided a perfect romantic glow for enjoying their meal. Wild Light Films provided videography throughout the celebration. Everyone took time to relax in the cozy, lounge seating that featured a Jefferson velvet loveseat and plenty of velvet pillows from Curated Event Rentals. To end the evening and satisfy everyone's sweet tooth the guests indulged in cupcakes, pastries, and a delightful two-tier wedding cake by Crumb Cakery.
