Enchanted Barn is an old historic Wisconsin dairy barn that has been transformed into a unique and magical venue for weddings. We have featured it once before, and it looks just as pretty the second time around for Tom and Clare's rustic inspired wedding.
Enchanted Barn is booked solid for years in advance, but this year a cancellation popped up on June 9th. Even though Clare and Tom were very recently engaged, they threw their planning into high-gear. Clare just so happens to own The Red Bench, a Wisconsin vintage rental company. So when it came to their wedding, every last detail, from vintage collections to handmade additions, was perfectly planned and displayed. Even with the time crunch. You can see more details and of course pretty pictures of this Enchanted Barn Wedding in the full gallery. All beautifully captured by Jeff Loves Jessica.
From The Bride:
Tom and I dreamed of a wedding day full of fun, laughter and vintage-inspired items. Tom proposed with a ring from the 1920’s from his grandmother and I have a business selling vintage home décor items, called The Red Bench, so it was a given that our wedding would be full of unique elements.
In a little over 3 months of planning, we were able to create a day that all of us would remember. Having a shorter engagement meant that decisions had to be made quickly and there was no time to look back and change our mind…which is a good thing for us!!
The wedding venue was a beautiful, restored barn. I was inspired by simple, natural elements and the event colors of green and brown came together from the floral arrangements. Not all the details need to match exactly but I loved how collectively the day had a unified look. I was able to take many of the expensive ideas I found online and modify them to make them work for our day or made into a DIY project!
I brought in many unique elements to decorate the venue including barrels, wood signs, lanterns, chalkboards, pop crates, mason jars, drink containers and much more, all the way down to the color coordinated paper straws for the bar. Many of our guests commented on the props and attention to detail and everything combined to set apart our day as one they will always remember.
