From Alyssa Brooke Photo: In the summer of 2017, Allie and Garrett sat across a bonfire with friends and met for the first time. Garrett will say they locked eyes across the fire, while Allie says she just likes looking at fire. Although they didn't speak for a month or so after that, they reconnected at their life group, bonding over shared struggles they had with dating. A few days later, Garrett asked Allie to coffee and the rest is history!
Their sweet love did not come without challenges. Even when they feared the relationship would fall apart over the stress of their individual lives, they continued to trust, have faith, and give it their best by simply showing up for each other. After 10 months of doing life together, Garrett proposed on their anniversary!
Garrett always had the dream of a destination wedding, and Paso Robles, California was the perfect fit. Their vision for their guests and loved ones was to experience connection, tranquility, and rest. Their aesthetic brought all the best pieces of California together-- the romanticism of the vineyard, the beauty of the rolling hills, and radiancy of a CA sunset, etc. They fought for intimacy and wanted to truly be surrounded by the people who have deeply impacted their lives, which created this beautiful space for authenticity and rich community.
